About Us
Established in 1994, Dakota Intertek Corp. is a general construction and professional service provider specializing in
government contracting, site work, and environmental services. Dakota Intertek Corp. is certified as a Minority Business
Enterprise (MBE), a Small Business Enterprise(SBE), and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
at the local, county, and state levels.
Dakota was founded by a Professional Engineer, Mike Wan, and a Professional Geologist, Wenbin Yuan. Both sought to fill in
the gap between specialized engineering firms who do not have contracting arms, and small contractors who do not have technical
support capabilities. Dakota succeeded in filling in this gap and has provided combined general contracting and technical services
for the past 20 years. Since 1994, Dakota has successfully completed over 2,000 projects with total worth of over $100 million dollars.
While our Corporate Office is located in New Berlin, Wisconsin, we have performed work throughout the nation, and maintain several
regional branch offices. Dakota continues to grow steadily, and has been consistently ranked as one of the one of the "top-twenty"
minority-owned contracting firms in the state of Wisconsin.
